Admissions is a very sensitive area in all health care facilities because this is where waiting patients and new persons waiting to be admitted come together.

In such an environment it is important to separate the areas acoustically from one another to prevent third parties overhearing other peoples medical needs and personal details.

In this project the individual areas were acoustically separated by means of sophisticated absorber technology and precisely placed reflection absorbers.

As a result one can speak freely about appropriate treatment in an open consultation cubicle behind a glass door without influencing, or being influenced by, what is going on at admissions only a few meters away.

Outpatients who are waiting are also acoustically well-protected from the consultation areas thanks to other absorbers.

In addition, thanks to these measures, the sound level in these rooms is reduced significantly which leads to a pleasant working atmosphere for the staff.
