Playability of a Room

Playability of a room

The rehearsal room (function room) has to be laid out with respect to playability so that it can be played in when it is full and also when there are only a few musicians, i.e. in a worst case scenario when only two people are present.

The frequency-response curve of the reverberation has to remain relatively linear at various, predetermined numbers of people present and also the absolute value of the reverberation time may only change very little.

The acoustic furnishing of music rehearsal rooms has to be carried out in such a way that a CD recording of an orchestra can be made in the room without any further adjustments.
