Selective Sound Control

Selective Sound Control

Objective: The instruments should not only be able to be heard and categorised into wide sections by the conductor, the audience and the musicians but also exactly locatable in depth by them. In this way a three dimensional picture of the whole orchestra is created. Due to this drummers sitting diagonally across from flautists for instance must be able to hear them.

A so-called three dimensional acoustic pattern is created – whereby all participating instruments can be much more distinctly located in space.

Playing music in rooms with 3D character is much more fun because the individual instruments can be placed better.
